We already have a fairly efficient office with a practice management and billing system. I'm not sure if I need another software application.
Unless performance is measured, monitored and analyzed it's difficult to control what is happening in your revenue cycle. Your inteligenz solution saves countless hours of running reports, collecting information from disparate sources, and finally analyzing and presenting results. It does all of this automatically and delivers information you can actually use 24/7 to your desktop. Practice management systems traditionally are made up of a set of tools to process office transactions such as appointments, charges, payments, etc. inteligenz actively maps the performance of all systems and processes. It seamlessly integrates data from your practice management systems and analyzes it to let you know if your software investments are functioning efficiently and generating expected profit levels. Results are reported automatically and monitored nightly for updates.
All of our software systems are installed on our computers. Why is inteligenz web-based?
Web-based systems are quickly becoming the gold standard for software deployment. They eliminate many of the headaches associated with computer technologies, because the end user is simply accessing the information. Data storage and all the processing actually takes place on our servers. There are numerous benefits to using web-based software:
- Access anytime, anywhere - Use your Tablet PC, Pocket PC, laptop or desktop; all you need is an Internet connection. Multiple locations can share the same data, and your information is always current.
- Data is secure - Your data is actually more secure in our facilities than it is in your office. We meet or exceed HIPAA security guidelines, and provide the highest level of firewall protection and encryption available.
- No maintenance - Simply log on to the Internet and you're using the latest version of our robust application. Updates and nightly backups are done automatically.
How much time is required for set up and installation?
Implementation time can be as little as one week if you are using a familiar database model (such as
GE Centricity Practice Management or
Plexis)and has already been mapped to our software. If not, we can usually configure your data in 30 days. During the implementation process, you will not notice any interruptions in your daily routine. Since inteligenz' solutions are provided as a service, not software, installation is brief. Once testing is complete, the transfer of data is set up to run automatically every night. An account is then created for each user.
Does Inteligenz connect directly to relational databases?
Yes it does.
Does Inteligenz join data in multiple tables?
Yes.
Does Inteligenz connect directly to OLAP data warehouses?
Yes.
Does Inteligenz unlock spreadsheets with a click?
Yes. With no knowledge of query languages like SQL or MDX, business people can tap all of their data.
What about cost?
With a inteligenz solution you aren't committed to investing a substantial portion of your budget in a software application. We charge a monthly fee that is consistant and without any hidden fees. Having a predictable monthly fee makes budgeting easier and that fee includes all the training and support needed to keep your business on pace. In addition to training and support, the monthly costs cover the entire deployment process: mapping of your database, 5 hours of training, and several hours of custom report creation. This low monthly fee gives your office access to unlimited support, updates, upgrades, new features, and our educational portal featuring training tutorials, software tips, industry links and our custom report request form.
How is inteligenz staying HIPAA Compliant?
Improving healthcare delivery through standardizing electronic data interchange, while at the same time, protecting the confidentiality and security of health information is top priority when offering our services to our customers.
In response, to the U.S. Government introducing the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). The "Administrative Simplification" aspect of HIPAA requires the United States Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to develop standards and requirements for the maintenance and transmission of sensitive health information. As a result, the regulations promulgated by DHHS are far-reaching. Inteligenz maintains these standards and follows a strict checklist of items when going into data exchange programs with our customers.
Inteligenz believes that protecting the confidentiality and privacy of individually identifiable health information is of paramount importance and we fully support the regulations being mandated by DHS.
Inteligenz will address the protection of personal health information via its software through our review process. The review process consults the Security and Electronic Signature Standards of HIPAA as well as further guidance issued by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. It should be noted that the Security Standard is being jointly developed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Department of Commerce, but has not yet been finalized, while the Electronic Signature Standard is awaiting recommendation by the National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics (NCVHS).
In the absence of finalized requirements for the Security and Electronic Signature standards associated with HIPAA, inteligenz utilizes SSL technology and multi-layered firewalls to secure our customers data from HIPAA violations. In addition, the transferring of files is completed thru Secure File Transfer Protocol (sFTP) which falls within the parameters set by HIPAA.
